Cruise lines have varying tipping policies, but most will charge $10 US per day per person to your shipboard account. Often you can adjust or, if you wish, completely eliminate these charges, but they usually require an explanation. Bottom line is most will do adjustments or complete removals, but they make you go through a few hoops to get it done. Some cruise lines have no flexibility at all, and are fixed costs that you need to budget for your holiday. As mentioned in more detail below, some luxury cruise lines include tips, so this is not even a consideration.
