Concentrating on just three ships, the Seven Seas Voyager, Mariner and Navigator the ships are complete, but not overdone and have the highest space-per-guest and staff-per-guest ratios in the industry. The standard staterooms – all called suites – all oceanview (95% with balconies) - are among the most spacious in the industry and toiletries by Judith Jackson are included in every stateroom bathroom.
Regent has some of the best service and cuisine at sea. The alternative dining rooms, operated by France's famous Le Cordon Bleu school, are adventurous and accomplished. The same can be said for the line's travel concierge program, which helps passengers devise the most exotic shore excursions they can imagine.
The Cruise Line offers some of the most varied itineraries in the cruise industry, sailing to over 300 ports of call on all seven continents. Many voyages are unique, having the ability to visit smaller and more intimate ports of call that cannot be accessed by larger vessels. Cruises are destination focused and most sailings host guest lecturers including historians, anthropologists, naturalists and diplomats. Many cruises are themed around popular pastimes such as food and wine, literature, archaeology and photography among others and all passengers have access to these unique experiences both onboard and onshore. The Casinos are more like those in Monaco than Las Vegas and the ships display tasteful and varied art collections, including pieces that are for sale.
