What drew you to the travel industry?
I was busily working in the events business when ship charters came up on an event basis.   We would hire a great band, and market a short duration cruise as an event.  When we began chartering ships, it became apparent that clients liked our service and began calling us for their travel needs.  So, I arrived by accident and fell in love.  What keeps me here?  This is much more fun than selling almost anything else on earth; who would not enjoy living vicariously through someone else's happy experiences?

Favorite destination(s) & why?
Not one, but many.  One of the most spectacular, to my mind, is what I've seen in Turkey, including Kusadasi, and I have to get back there to do more indepth travel.  The sense of history and connection between past and present is too compelling to ignore. I have been twice to East Africa...both trips are close to my heart.  You can't travel there without being touched by the simple, yet generous existence of the people, and if you love animals...it's a must do.  I got to see almost everything you could imagine animal wise, and am one of the privileged few to have done a gorilla trek in Uganda.  Amazing!  Favorite beaches are a whole different conversation....  I've done about 30 cruises, to many destinations, so that whole experience is a favorite as well - some cruise ships are a destination unto themselves!

How many years have you worked in the industry?

Destination wish-list:
Australia and New Zealand,  South America, among many.  I can't believe I haven't made it there yet!  I also have to get into more of Europe...and really want to do a river cruise.

Interests:
I love sports and am known in our office to be a passionate hockey fan...amongst other things.  I personally love to garden and spend time in our area outdoors.  We have a great place to be able to get out and walk or hike with your dog.  I also have 2 cats...definitely an animal lover.

Call me for:
You may occasionally find me answering the phone and selling cruises...which I love.  Unfortunately, running the business doesn't leave me much time for this anymore.  So, call me about feedback on our business.  We love hearing about your travels, and want to be continually evolving to fit what you need.   Also incentive travel, ship charter's, large groups or anything with an event focus.
